Dawn of the monsters switch4/14/2023 But I’ll stop so I don’t spend the rest of this post gushing) the game is super fun even when I’m objectively playing it wrong but I think it is frustratingly short, a randomly generated endless mode where the monsters steadily although in a random order get worse and worse and worse would add tons of casual fun trying to beat your high scores and make farming for/rerolling DNA augments much more fun and worth it. (still not over how meaty Megadon’s Heavy Hold 1 is…or how perfectly low effort and lovably off brand Kaiju-y his name is. I mean the title explains enough of the post for you to not read the rest of this but I genuinely don’t understand why it isn’t a thing, like they could very well be working on it because after the game came out I’m gonna be honest I stopped paying attention to all the behind the scenes stuff and was playing it instead. All the love to the developers you've made an awesome game! I'm not sure if everyone feels the same on this or if I'm the only one but I wanted to share my thoughts I still love the game and will continue to play it. It's not like it completely hinders my enjoyment but it was sad realizing most of the things I wanted to do couldn't be done. For instance I really like to go full in on one trait and I wanted to make Ganira a tank with the best defense and be a fortress that dishes damage while getting attacked but all the defense traits are locked into one slot so I can't do something like that. I feel like the game restricting specific Augments to each slot makes the game alot more restricting and diffcult to have fun since your forced into specific play styles and don't get as much freedom. However in both runs my biggest gripe with the game was the DNA Augments. I absolutely loved playing this game the first time I have a very fun combo playing Aegis Prime with fista cuffs and I'm currently on my second run playing as Ganira.
